Welcome

Welcoming Community

We seek to honor God by fostering space to practice radical hospitality, where authentic relationships can flourish in a respectful environment.

Human Dignity

We believe every human soul has been made in the image of God and therefore has eternal value. We value cultural and religious diversity, while providing and partnering with others to offer interactive personal and spiritual growth opportunities.

Lifelong Learning

We value the ongoing, lifelong process of personal and spiritual formation. We provide and partner with those who share our value of education, mentoring, leadership development, and the arts.

Missional Heart of God

As a Christian community and faith network, we affirm God’s seeking and sending heart. We value discernment, listening, and participating together in the Spirit’s ongoing ministry in our generation, locally and globally.

In 2022, Bruce & Deb Crowe relocated their family to Cluj-Napoca from the Kyiv region in Ukraine. For the previous 15 years, the Crowe family were serving as missionaries from America within Slavic culture. They founded Lighthouse Ukraine, a youth and missional platform dedicated to creating safe, welcoming space for the next-generation of culture makers.

They are also directors of a US Non-Profit called Mir Ministries, which has been working in the former Soviet Union since the early 90’s in spheres of media, music, education and humanitarian aid.

Now in Cluj-Napoca, the Crowe’s began connecting with area churches, NGO’s and Christ-followers who were passionate about being the church in the world Jesus loves. Instead of trying to convince people to come to church, Lighthouse serves to introduce our neighbors to Christ within the culture, through relationships and resources that engage the mind, heart and soul.

We are a non-profit organization, and we don’t have paid full-time staff. We provide space for like-minded and gifted believers to explore and bring ideas to life. We have designated team members that steward the Ligthhouse space. They include Event Managers, Community Developers, and Project Co-ordinators. We also partner strategically with non-profit, church and university departments to collaborate and hold space for meaningful events that challenge the mind and inspire the soul.

Rental Guide

We are delighted to offer approved partners and friends the opportunity to reserve and rent our space. As a non-profit organization, we rely on donations and rental fees to cover our operational expenses.
